Hey, im thinking of coming along to your next event, im from Deal, dont know if yu know it, near Dover, and im 18 but i have a few questions

Im an experienced gamer, played for about 7 years and been to many smaller lan events before and am 15th with my clan in the Enemydown ladder in Cod4.
I wondered if there would be any tournements for Call of Duty 4?
Also, is there a bar, and where do you sleep? And is everyone friendly and ready to get a good owning

Sorry if they are silly questions, just never been to a decent sized lan event before.
Oh and, i totally socked up the first account i tried to make by clicking the wrong button that said i was under 13 or whatever it was, so now i cant use my proper email

First of all, welcome to the boards, and let me add you made a fine decision for your next LAN event.

1) I reckon such good competition (15th on an ED ladder is pretty good) will be healthy for our returning heroes!
2) There is always a possibility that any game will feature as an official tournament. We base our decisions on what tournaments to run almost entirely on our attendee preferences. You should have a 'Profile' link on the top left box on the screen. In there, you can tell us what games you own and order them by your preference. The more popular games emerge as favourites - a list we'll look to for inspiration when inventing the main events!

3) There is no bar. Food and drink can be bought very nearby in the village centre. A rather large Co-Op is about 15 mns by foot and two minutes by car. There are regular runs to the village so expect plenty of opportunity to tag along.
4) There's a room upstairs reserved for sleeping, though be aware that we have some heavy snorers attending! So bring some earmuffs too. There is ground outside for pitching tents too, which will offer you greater privacy, space, and quiet.
5) I think almost everyone is very friendly. Look to the testimonials in the previous events' forums.

It helps that we are a 40 player-max LAN.

Hi Chumpy, I've fixed your email address for you, let me know if that is ok.
As for the username, you should be able to change that yourself in your user control panel

Any problems, just send me a pm

If you're not playing Quake III Arena, you're not worthy.
Heheh, ignore me, I'm just being a prat.
Bring CoD4, bet I can still rocket jump and bunny hop.
