I really need to set up some alerting when a ticket is raised

anyway, I can sort out a refund for you. Just confirm that is what you want and I will put it through

Good point CD, do you know where the problem is toby? I know I have a few spare parts lying around, so it's possible we could get you working again

Yes! Bring it to the LAN! There should always be
someone who has to rebuild before they can play.

It is
very likely that people have spares lying about, and at a push PC World is just up the road.

What's broke? Hardware? Or is it a software problem?

It just doesn't turn on. I think there was a power surge or something. If anything has broke it's the PSU or motherboard. I am gonna go have another look now

When you say it doesn't turn on, is there utterly no response whatsoever from the PSU? Do you get any fans or lights, but nothing on screen? If you don't get any response at all, it is the PSU. Although it's possible the board & other parts may have suffered damage, if it is the PSU then your other parts may still be okay.

Also, don't forget to reset your CMOS. I have seen borked mobo's not signal the PSU to power up, and then resetiing the CMOS, they've booted.

It turns on and the fan spins for a second then it just shuts off. I tried resting the CMOS but no luck.

I think you should try a new PSU my friend! Have you added any new hardware recently shortly before you had these issues?

I think i am gonna have to request a refund. I have borrowed a PSU from a friend. it turns on and cant detect any of the components so it's basically a whole new PC job. I really don't have the money for a new PC so I am gonna pull out, sorry.
