If anyone has any DDR2 they are willing to part with, please let me know as I need some for a new server I'm building
Cheers

Any details on preferred speed or other sundry information?

I've got 2Gb from Golem, which will get Rodney going for now. I do plan on upgrading but will need bigger dimms (there are only 2 sockets in the mobo), so if people have larger sizes then great
speed isn't really an issue, it's more size tbh

I think that I may have a couple of 2Gb modules which I didn't use because my motherboard was weak and feeble and couldn't get it's voltage up to what was required ... if you can give me the model of the motherboard and/or some specifics of the exact RAM it takes we may be match them up

Sorry dude, that seems to only take 1.8v, and my memory insists on 2.2v, that's why I wasn't able to use it after I bought it myself.

Just done a quick bit of reading, it seems the standard voltage for DDR2 is 1.8v, with w.wv being used by manufacturers to effectively their product before sale. In theory the ram should work at 1.8v, but equally the board I have will let me up the voltage to 2.2v (found some people online with the same board that have done os, plus seen the bios pages that allow it

)
what do you reckon CD, worth a try?

I'll try and track it down, my board would allow the over voltage, but if you're willing to give it a punt I'll try and pass it your way ... if I can remember where I put it!

To be honest I was confused when I saw this post's title on the forum, and actually thought you meant the game rather than RAM until I'd actually read the posts
